Configuring your email client: Outlook 2007

before setting up your outlook 2007, pls make sure you have below information

1. Open Outlook 2007.

2. Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings.

3. Click on the Email tab and click on the New... button.

4. Next select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP or HTTP and click Next

5. On the Auto Account Setup window check the Manually configure server settings or additional server types and click Next.

NOTE: not support this feature on our mail servers, so you SHOULD NOT USE the Auto Account Setup feature.

6. Select Internet E-mail option and click Next.

7. Fill in the following fields by using your own email information

8. Perform the following steps:

1. Click on More Settings...
2. Click on the Outgoing Server tab.
3. Check My outgoing server (SMTP) Requires Authentication
4. Make sure Use same setting as my incoming mail server is also checked.
5. Click on OK.

9. Click the Advanced tab, and change the smtp port to the alternate port of 465 then click on OK.

10. Click Next and OK to save your settings.

11. You have finished the setup of your email account. Click Finish to close the setup wizard.
